Overview

Metering Scheduler – Cardiff

Pay: £17 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (30-minute lunch break)

Location: Cardiff, CF23

Contract: 6-month initial contract with the potential to go permanent

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days from home after training

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised Metering Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will schedule Field Engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is planned efficiently and in line with contractual agreements. You'll liaise with clients, resolve queries, and support field teams to meet departmental targets while maintaining databases and producing reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule work for engineers and subcontractors to maximise efficiency.
  • Manage bookings and requests via customer portals and email.
  • Prioritise work to meet client and contractual requirements.
  • Communicate with clients about appointments and engineer availability.
  • Maintain databases and prepare reports for management.
  • Support field teams and resolve queries effectively.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Interview Process
  • Conducted via Microsoft Teams

  • Expected duration: up to 45 minutes
Training & Working Pattern
  • Full training will be provided
  • First 2-3 weeks: work from the office 3-4 days per week
  • Post-training: hybrid model - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
  • The team is usually in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays (subject to change)
