Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter for a busy Bodyshop in the Winsford area. The role involves removing and refitting parts, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles, and reporting unseen damage promptly.

The position offers circa £45,000 per annum, an individual bonus, and a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
• ATA/NVQ advantageous but not essential.
• Hybrid trained and ADAS accredited.

Responsibilities

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed.
• Report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as identified.
• 4 wheel alignment, ADAS, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work.

Our client, a busy Bodyshop/Accident Repair Centre in the Winsfordarea are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• 4 wheel alignment, ADAS, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work

Ideal Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
• ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
• Hybrid Trained
• ADAS Accredited
