Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter for a busy bodyshop group in the Nuneaton area. The role involves removing and refitting parts, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles, and reporting unseen damage as soon as it’s identified.

You will perform 4 wheel alignment, suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and other mechanical duties. The ideal candidate has MET experience; ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as MET Technician/Strip Fitter.
• ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential.
• Mechanical knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit parts to high standard.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed.
• Report unseen damage when identified.
• Perform 4 wheel alignment, suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and related mechanical tasks.

Our client, who are a busy Bodyshop group are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Strip Fit / MET Technician in the Nuneaton area.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• 4 wheel alignment, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work

Ideal Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
• ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
• Mechanical knowledge
• Hybrid Trained
