Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter in the Castleford area for a busy bodyshop group. You will remove/refit parts, dismantle/rebuild vehicles and report unseen damage promptly.

Expect 4 wheel alignment, suspension work, GEO and diagnostics as part of your core duties. Ideal candidates have MET technician experience; ATA/NVQ is a bonus, along with Hybrid training and ADAS accreditation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
• ATA/NVQ advantageous but not essential.
• Hybrid trained and ADAS accredited.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit parts to high repair standards.
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed.
• Report unseen damage beyond estimate as soon as identified.
• Perform 4 wheel alignment, suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and other mechanical tasks.

Our client, who are a busy Bodyshop group are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced MET Technician in the Castleford area.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• 4 wheel alignment, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work

Ideal Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
• ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
• Hybrid Trained
• ADAS Accredited
