Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter for a busy bodyshop group in the Nuneaton area. The role involves removing and refitting parts to high standards, dismantling and rebuilding vehicles, and reporting unseen damage early.

Skills in 4-wheel alignment, suspension/GEO, diagnostics and mechanical work are required. Ideal candidates will have MET/Strip Fitter experience; ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential, and a hybrid training background is noted.

Qualifications

• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter.
• ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential.
• Mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

Our client, who are a busy Bodyshop group are currently looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced Strip Fit / MET Technician in the Nuneaton area.

Key MET Technician / Strip Fitter Roles and Responsibilities:

• Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard
• Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
• To report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as its identified
• 4 wheel alignment, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work

Ideal Requirements as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter:

• Have Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
• ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
• Mechanical knowledge
• Hybrid Trained
