The Company

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser Manager to work for an established and dynamic organisation. The company supply a wide of products and are looking to recruit someone who will be responsible for a portfolio of Volume Retail and Multiple customers, ensuring quality, service and support to both the customer and sales team from Point of Sale through to Delivery, coupled with the Management of your own team.

You will have an excellent attention to detail and strong IT skills with previous experience in team management and ideally a background in Retail Merchandising. Excellent prospects.

The Role
  • Manging key customer accounts.
  • Liaise with the UK Sales Team, Buying, Shipping, Warehouse Departments to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Provide Account Support to Sales Team through use of Critical Paths and other similar methods.
  • Follow and issue critical path time lines for bespoke customer orders.
  • Have daily contact with customers, building up a strong business relationship.
  • Understanding and following the full delivery requirement for your retailers.
  • Developing and implementing new procedures and policies.
  • Provide standardised and consistent documentation and management reporting for all categories within the business.
  • Manage, coach and develop a merchandising team.
Skills Required
  • Extensive proven experience, at least 5 years, gained at Senior Merchandising level.
  • Resilient and results orientated with a strong quality focus and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong influencing skills, able to quickly build credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain effective even when working under pressure.
  • A driven and optimistic individual supported by the ability to build and develop a ‘best in business’ team around them.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge supported by a demonstrable comprehensive knowledge with an ERP system (Microsoft Navision would be advantageous
