Mental Health Social Worker – Locality Team

Sanctuary Personnel has a new permanent position available for an Adults Mental Health Social Worker within the Locality Team to work full time based in Surrey.

The salary for this permanent Mental Health Social Worker job is up to £40,146 per annum.

  • Take professional responsibility for managing a caseload, including individuals, children, and families who require support and guidance.
  • Demonstrate confident and effective judgement about risk and accountability in decision-making.
  • Use assessment procedures discerningly in response to presenting needs.
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance in line with current national legislation.
  • Understand forms of harm and their impact on people, and identify safeguarding concerns.
  • Undertake assessment and planning for safeguarding when relevant.
  • Share professional knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Provide professional reflective supervision to unqualified staff.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date work records.
  • Work within the Directorate’s data protection policies.

Requirements of this Mental Health Social Worker job:

  • Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Social Work England registered.
