Job description

We are looking for a Coach or a Player Coach who is UK based and able to commit for at least 2 seasons.

Woking have a strong squad with a good mix of youth and experience. We play in the South East Men’s Premier Division and are ambitious to gain promotion. We offer a supportive set up for your development and a strong support team. There is a First team Manager, Video analysis system and healthy competition for places within the squad.

There are opportunities to undertake further coaching within the club and further development for the right candidate.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Assist and drive forward aperformance focused squadwith an agreed set of principles and behaviours.
  • Apply excellent knowledge of game tactics and how to embed them into the team on match days and assisting within training sessions.
  • Attending all league fixtures (Saturday).
  • Utilise our VEO video camera, provide clipped footage, to analyse match performanceand providedfeedback to players/team.
  • Create an environment to attract newplayers

Additionals:

  • Provide positive input across the Men's section and into the wholeclub.
  • Maintain the teams integration within the club that contributes to social activities, coaching, fundraising or umpiring for otherteams.
  • England Hockey UKCC level 2, FIH Level 2 or above coaching qualification, or a significant level of playing.
  • DBS.
  • Track record of successful positive coaching delivery
    Excellent people skills.
