Job summary

Everlast Gyms is seeking a Host to greet members and guests, drive memberships, and support retention at our UK club. You’ll contribute to club operations, promote services, and help maintain a welcoming, high-energy environment.

In this role you will handle front-desk tasks, use the membership system, and collaborate with the Fitness Manager to deliver engaging gym floor initiatives. A passion for fitness and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, positive, and passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
• Confident in administration and able to handle day-to-day club systems.
• Sales-focused, with the drive to hit membership and retention targets.
• Flexible and adaptable - able to work varied shifts and step into operational/key holder duties when needed.
• Passionate about fitness, with a genuine interest in our products and services.
• Ambitious, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills for future progression.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming members and guests, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional.
• Supporting membership sales and retention by providing excellent service and guidance.
• Driving secondary spend KPIs by promoting products and services available in-club.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the club.
• Acting as a competent key holder, opening and closing the club as required.
• Handling administrative duties, including use of the membership software system.
• Staying informed about fitness challenges, classes, and gym floor focuses, actively taking part to promote engagement.
• Supporting the Fitness Manager and wider team in delivering gym floor initiatives.
• Ensuring member feedback and complaints are handled professionally and escalated when needed.
• Actively experiencing the products and services on offer so you can confidently recommend them to members.
