We are writing a new and exciting chapter in the history of The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation project has begun at our resort, due for completion in Autumn 2025. With a substantial investment in excess of £80 million, we are enriching our resort including the addition of a new event space, The Masters Suite, 149 extra bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club, and much more.

The on-target earning potential for this role is a £27,954 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £25854.40 supplemented by an estimated £2,100 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.

The Belfry Meetings and Events:

At The Belfry we have beautiful event spaces. Our comprehensive and stylish meeting facilities comprise 24 conference and banqueting rooms and can cater for a variety of events from board meetings to full-scale conferences or product launches. The resort also caters for leisure-based events such as weddings, christenings, and birthday celebrations.

About the role:

As a Meetings and Events Team leader, you will be responsible for verifying that the BEO details are correct with the customer, ensuring all information is passed to relevant departments, and monitoring the setup team to ensure their work meets high standards and all rooms are set correctly.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Meeting and greeting all company organizers to ensure a warm welcome.
  • Handling complaints/problems politely and resolving them with minimal inconvenience to the customer.
  • Developing and maintaining effective communication lines, including shift hand-over procedures.
  • Training and coaching staff to maximize performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervising and motivating staff for efficient service.
  • Performing other duties as necessary.
  • Working independently with passion for the industry.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a meeting and events role, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. You will also have:
