An established healthcare organization is seeking a proactive medical secretary to join their Pathology Administration team. We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated individual to join our Pathology Administration team. The role involves performing duties similar to a medical secretary to ensure the timely management of diagnostic reports and patient correspondence for our pathology service. You will collaborate closely with the Pathology Manager and Consultant team to meet service requirements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills and an understanding of medical terminology. Some knowledge of pathology and disease processes is desirable, but training will be provided. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and effective time management are essential. Flexibility in working hours will be accommodated to suit the successful candidate.
The post requires independent workload management in line with service needs and policies.
