Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provide secretarial and administrative support to consultants, junior medical staff, and other staff within the Women's & Children's Division.
  2. Coordinate communication between medical staff, GPs, patients, relatives, and other disciplines within the Trust.
  3. Manage electronic calendars, organize meetings, and take minutes as required.
  4. Support the medical secretaries' team leader role during absences.
  5. Handle inquiries, provide administrative support, and act as the first point of contact for patients and clinicians.
  6. Maintain administrative systems, ensure files are up-to-date, and prepare documentation for meetings.
  7. Use databases and computer packages to maintain records and generate reports.
  8. Transcribe correspondence and reports using digital dictation and medical terminology knowledge.
  9. Coordinate and liaise with Junior Medical staff and distribute staff rotas.
