We are looking for an experienced and organized MedicalSecretary to join our friendly and supportive team at Kirkburton HealthCentre. This is a part-time position working 28 hours per week.
The successful candidate will play an important role in providing high-quality medical secretarial and administrative support to our GPs and clinical staff, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations within the practice.
Main duties of the job
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the clinical team, including typing and processing of referrals, reports, and correspondence.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications efficiently, including hospital letters, emails, and telephone calls.
- Liaise with hospitals, community services, and patients to ensure timely information flow.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with practice and NHS policies.
- Assist with workflow management and support the administrative team when required.
- Involvement in the Monthly MDT taking minutes and sending invites.
