Job summary

Bearsted Medical Practice in Bearsted, Maidstone is seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our reception team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and support the clinical and admin teams, handling enquiries in person and by phone, online triage, and email correspondence.

Experience in a Primary Care setting is desirable but training will be provided to the successful candidate, with a friendly, supportive practice environment and NHS pension offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients, assisting with enquiries face to face and over the telephone.
• Handle online triage, respond to the generic email inbox and deal with incoming emails.
• Chaperone, support the clinical and admin teams to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
