Job summary

Kingsnorth Medical Practice is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our reception team. The role involves greeting patients, managing appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting the PHCT with smooth daily operations.

We aim to maintain a welcoming environment with a close-knit team of partners, nurses, and support staff at our semi-rural location in Ashford. Interviews will be held Friday, 24th July 2026.

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy.
• Customer service experience.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at reception and handle enquiries.
• Book appointments and maintain clinic books.
• Register new patients and process paperwork.
• Maintain surgery lists and appointment systems.
• Answer phone calls and pass messages to the appropriate staff.
• Open/close procedures and secure the building at the end of day.
