Great Homer Street Medical Centre, a busy NHS GP practice in Liverpool, is offering a Medical Receptionist/Administrator Apprentice position. You will gain hands-on experience while training for a National Level 3 Business Administrator qualification, serving as the first point of contact for patients and supporting daily admin tasks.

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
• DBS check required.
• Two references required.
• Education toward GCSEs accepted if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients promptly and accurately.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain records.
• Open, sort and prepare post and letters.
• Enter and retrieve patient data on the system.
• Manage patient communications and appointments.
• Answer calls and handle enquiries.
