An established healthcare institution is seeking a dedicated mechanical maintenance professional to oversee maintenance and installation activities. This role involves ensuring compliance with statutory inspections and collaborating with both technical and non-technical colleagues. This role is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical related maintenance and installation activities, including contract works, are reviewed and completed to an appropriate standard throughout. The department is responsible for the effective management and control of the
servicing infrastructure, and the associated trade staff, maintenance assistants, and apprentices.
The role will also require the post holder to work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues as part of providing specialist mechanical knowledge and review processes, or as part of the overall planning of activities undertaken and completed by directly employed labour
and contractors.
You should be able to take responsibility and ownership for statutory inspections under your delegated area and keep records ensuring the trust complies with current legislation.
The role also requires participation in the out of hours on-call rota.
