Job description

Bennett and Game seek a talented Structural Technician to join our client's Design Team in Tamworth, Staffordshire. In this role, you will utilise Revit to create 3D models and generate 2D GA's directly from the model. Your responsibilities will include aligning all models and drawings with project quotations, scopes, and deliverables, while adhering to our client's specifications.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate closely with Architects, Design Managers, and other team members to address technical aspects of your work.
  2. Work within project timelines and budgets, providing regular progress updates to senior or lead technicians.
  3. Ensure all design activities comply with company procedures and are delivered digitally.

Position Overview
  1. Develop a solid understanding of project objectives and identify opportunities for optimal solutions.
  2. Maintain clear and effective communication internally and externally.
  3. Monitor daily tasks and outputs, reporting as needed.
  4. Aid in task prioritization as required.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  2. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, or similar software for creating detailed models and drawings.
  3. Ability to interpret drawings and utilize information effectively.
  4. Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Effective communication skills for collaboration.
  6. Understanding of best practices and information acquisition for task completion.
  7. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform self-checks.
  8. Proven track record of delivering work in accordance with specifications.
  9. Time management skills to meet deadlines.
  10. Familiarity with BIM concepts is preferred.
