Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to join a healthcare site in Lewisham. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance within a hospital environment, with opportunities for training and career progression.

You will monitor plant, carry out routine servicing, and support the on-site maintenance team during day shifts (4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm). A strong mechanical background and onsite practical experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering (C&G, NVQ etc)
• A proven track record in Building Maintenance
• Good Communication Skills.
• Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
• Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV (Desirable)
• Good Leadership & Management skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G, etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the mechanical plant
