Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Shift Maintenance Electrician for a large commercial office in Blackfriars. The role covers electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance with a focus on reliability and energy efficiency.

The package includes a £53,000 salary, shift allowance, overtime and career progression opportunities. You will join the on-site maintenance team, perform diagnostics, manage routine work orders and ensure building systems run safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified and experienced in building maintenance.
• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3.
• City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Multi-skilled: mechanical and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Electrical - Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Generators
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Cols)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

CBW is currently recruiting for a Shift Maintenance Electrician to be based in a large office in Blackfriars. The successful candidate will be electrically biased (C&G, 18th Edition) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £53,000, further training, overtime and career progression.

Duties

• - Electrical - Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)


• - Generators


• - Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings


• - Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)


• - BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)


• - UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Hours of work

• 3 days and 3 nights ON


• 5 days/nights OFF


• 3 nights ON


• 4 days/nights OFF
