Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a FM service provider on a hospital site near Woking, Surrey. The role is mechanically biased with duties spanning mechanical, some electrical and fabric maintenance to support daily operations.

The position is Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a competitive salary up to £41,500 and benefits including pension, holiday entitlement, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mechanically / Plumbing qualified (C&G, NVQ) or equivalent.
• Proven track record in building maintenance.
• Good communication skills.
• Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Knowledge of UPS, generators, power distribution, HVAC.
• Leadership and on-site management skills.

Responsibilities

• Pumps, motors, seals and bearings maintenance on site.
• Air conditioning maintenance incl. AHU/FCU and filter changes.
• Chillers re-set and basic fault finding.
• Water treatment checks and temperature monitoring.
• Plumbing tasks: unblocking toilets, replacing taps.
• Monitor BMS system for hot and cold readings.
• Monitor UPS systems and take readings.
• Emergency light testing.
• Basic electrical duties as required.
• General fabric maintenance and making good.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider – Monday to Friday - Woking, Surrey £41,500

A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated on a hospital site near Woking, Surrey. The successful candidate will be Mechanically biased (NVQ or C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out Mechanical and some minor electrical and fabric maintenance. This is a Monday - Friday role working 08:00 - 17:00

Duties & Responsibilities of the role:

• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings


• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)


• Chillers - Re-set


• Water Treatment (Temperature checks


• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replace taps etc


• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)


• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings


• Emergency light testing


• Basic Electrical duties


• General fabric duties/making good

Requirements
