CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer for a hospital in Lewisham. The role is a day shift in a healthcare environment, focusing on mechanical and electrical maintenance within a busy facility.

The successful candidate will have Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering and a proven track record in building maintenance, with strong communication and team skills. On offer is a competitive salary and career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ or C&G level in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven track record in building maintenance.
• Good communication skills and team collaboration.
• Multiskilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Desirable knowledge of UPS/Generators/Power distribution/HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the mechanical plant on site.
• Maintain pumps, motors, seals and bearings.
• Service Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units and filters.
• Carry out water treatment temperature checks and dosing considerations.
• Carrying out plumbing tasks and basic electrical duties.
• Monitor and operate BMS systems; escort subcontractors.
• Maintain general building fabric and support on-site team.

Mechanical Day Shift Engineer - FM Service Provider - Hospital - Lewisham - £48,900

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G, etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Hours of work

• 4 on 4 off - Days Only
• 7 am - 7 pm

Requirements
