CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a prestigious commercial office building in Liverpool Street, London. You will join a multi-skilled engineering team to carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on HVAC systems and building services.

The role requires mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) and experience in commercial maintenance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical qualification required (C&G / NVQ or equivalent).
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services equipment.
• Maintain HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and related equipment.
• Service heating, chilled water and domestic water systems; fault finding on mechanical plant.
• Basic electrical maintenance including emergency lighting checks and lamp replacements.
• Monitor BMS alarms and coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – 4 on 4 off Days – Commercial Office – Liverpool Street, London – Up to £52,500 per annum

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider on a prestigious commercial office building in Liverpool Street, London. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G / NVQ or equivalent) with a proven background in commercial building maintenance. Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, you will carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, while also supporting with basic electrical and general building services maintenance where required.

Hours of Work

• 4 on 4 off Days
• 7:00am – 7:00pm

Package

• Salary up to £52,500 per annum

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services equipment
• Maintenance of HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and associated equipment
• Servicing and maintenance of heating, chilled water and domestic water systems
• Fault finding and repairs on mechanical plant
• Basic plumbing repairs including valves, pipework, taps and sanitary ware
• Carry out basic electrical maintenance including emergency lighting checks, lamp replacements and simple fault finding
• Monitor BMS systems and respond to plant alarms where appropriate
• Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors
• Ensure all works are completed in line with KPI and SLA requirements
• Complete all maintenance documentation accurately and on time
• Identify and report faults with building services equipment and take appropriate action
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and site management team
• Remain flexible and assist with additional maintenance duties within your level of competence

Requirements

• Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
• Experience working within commercial building maintenance
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services including HVAC systems
• Experience with AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and plumbing systems
• Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous
• Experience working in a critical environment is desirable
• Ability to provide copies of trade qualifications
• Proven track record in commercial maintenance
• Multi-skilled approach to maintenance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A proactive and professional attitude
