CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to join a healthcare/FM service provider in Lewisham. The role is mechanically biased and involves on-site building maintenance in a hospital environment.

You will monitor plant, pumps, AHUs, water treatment, BMS, and carry out routine electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance. The position offers £48,900 per annum and 4 on 4 off days, with a path to HV training.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Mechanical Engineering (C&G/NVQ).
• Proven track record in Building Maintenance.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the mechanical plant.
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings.
• Air Conditioning - AHUs / FCUs (Filter changes, cleaning).
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing).
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc.
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc).
• General building fabric.
• Escort specialist subcontractors.

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham. CBW is currently looking for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham. The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G, etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

Hours of work

• 4 on 4 off - Days Only
• 7 am - 7 pm

Requirements
