Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting three Mechanical Maintenance Engineers for a high-end City of London law firm. Role involves on-site maintenance, client-facing professionalism, and multi-skill coverage across mechanical, electrical, and fabric tasks.

The position is based in a commercial building in the City, with hours Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. DBS is desirable. On-site role with UPS, BMS monitoring and water treatment duties.

Qualifications

• Mechanically / Plumbing qualified (C&G, NVQ etc).
• A proven track record in Building Maintenance.
• Good communication skills.
• Multi-skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
• Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV.
• Good leadership & Management skills.
• Desirable: Basic DBS.

Responsibilities

• Pumps, motors, seals and bearings maintenance.
• Air conditioning: AHU/FCU filter changes and cleaning.
• Chillers: reset and check operation.
• Water treatment: temperature checks.
• Plumbing: unblock toilets, replace taps.
• BMS: monitor hot and cold readings.
• UPS systems: monitor and take readings.
• Emergency light testing.
• Basic electrical duties on site.
• General fabric maintenance and making good.

A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in the City of London. CBW is currently looking for 3 Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to be based in a commercial building located in the City. The successful candidate will be electrically biased (NVQ or C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out Mechanical basic, electrical and fabric maintenance to the following. You will be working in a very client facing high end Law Firm so attention to detail & proffesionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replace taps etc
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings
• Emergency light testing
• Basic Electrical duties
• General fabric duties/making good

Hours of work

Monday to Friday

8am - 5pm
