Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Maintenance Operative to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Operative who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Mechanical Maintenance Operative, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Mechanical Maintenance Operative will be responsible for:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manor as this is an important factor in delivery to the client.
• Ensure compliance with procedures for maintenance and completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time using a tablet.
• Investigate and report in detail on any failures, problems or incidents as soon as possible, recommending options for remedial actions wherever possible.
• Comply with company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and localised fire regulation procedures, including participation in weekend working, shift rota patterns, and out-of-hours call-out functions.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical engineering,
• Previous relevant experience in providing Mechanical maintenance services in a large, complex environment.
• Plumbing level 2 or 3
• Experience of servicing and repairing water booster pumps, Air source heat pumps, Air handling units would be advantageous.
• Basic to intermediate IT skills as jobs are processed using a tablet.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass security clearance checks.
