Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Operative to join a leading facilities management contractor in the UK. The role covers delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance services across diverse sites and environments.

You will maintain compliance with BS 7671 and site standards, complete maintenance documentation, and work closely with colleagues, contractors, and management to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification required.
• Level 3 NVQ diploma in installing Electrotechnical systems and Equipment required.
• AM2 passed desirable.
• Proven experience providing electrical maintenance services in a large, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance in line with BS 7671 and site standards.

As the Electrical Maintenance Operative, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Electrical Maintenance Operative will be responsible for:

To be successful for this Electrical Maintenance Operative role you must have:

• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification
• Level 3 NVQ diploma in installing Electrotechnical systems and Equipment.
• AM2 passed (desirable)
• Proven experience providing electrical maintenance services in a large, complex environment.
• Practical knowledge of building services systems including power distribution, fire, security, HVAC, and public health.
