CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing environment in Peterborough. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across a static site, ensuring reliable operation of mechanical plant and building services.

The ideal candidate will have City & Guilds Level 2, a track record in commercial building maintenance, and a willingness to learn. Salary up to £30,000 with overtime, 25 days holiday plus BH, and company pension.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance.
• Ability to work on a static site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on site.
• Monitor mechanical plant and building services.
• Perform plumbing tasks (unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers).
• Maintain pumps, motors, seals and bearings.
• Service air handling units / fan coils and clean filters.
• Manage general building fabric.

Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Manufacturing Environment – Peterborough – Up to £30,000 + Package

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Peterborough has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a junior Mechanical Engineer based in a manufacturing environment. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £30,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work

• Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00


• Monitor mechanical plant


• Plumbing work (Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc)


• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings


• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)


• General building fabric
