Job summary

Amey is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Advisory team in the UK. You will support the delivery of mechanical building services across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring high-quality designs and deliverables meet client, programme and budget needs.

Working with experienced engineers and project teams, you will contribute to project delivery across sectors, develop technical expertise, and engage with clients, contractors and suppliers throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working towards or holding professional membership (CIBSE/IMechE).
• Understanding of mechanical building services design.
• Experience delivering mechanical building services projects.
• Good understanding of design and specification processes.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of mechanical and building services elements across multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare and develop designs, calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Coordinate design information with other disciplines to support integrated project delivery.
• Assist in identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.
• Support compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
