Job summary

Amey is seeking a Project Manager to join the Built Environment Advisory team in the UK. You will deliver small to medium environmental and built environment projects for internal and external clients across rail, highways, and facilities, from tender through delivery and close-out.

The role requires strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead junior staff, maintain PM information, and ensure health and safety compliance, with a clear focus on quality, cost and programme.

Qualifications

• Experience managing small to medium environmental/building projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes and governance.
• Proven ability to lead junior staff and deliver deliverables.
• Demonstrates commercial awareness and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from tender through delivery and close-out with stakeholders.
• Prepare and check project information to meet quality, cost and programme.
• Oversee junior staff performing similar tasks.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers and attend progress meetings.
• Promote and apply project management processes across the team.
• Ensure health and safety and environmental compliance.
• Forecast and report financial performance including variances.
