Job summary

Amey is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the delivery of mechanical building services across a range of multidisciplinary projects in the UK. You will develop designs, calculations and specifications while coordinating with project teams and stakeholders.

The role emphasises professional development toward Chartered Engineer status, with exposure to Rail, Transport, Defence and Civic sectors, and a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working towards or holding professional membership (CIBSE/IMechE or equivalent).
• Experience with mechanical building services design incl. heating, ventilation and cooling.
• Experience in multidisciplinary design environments and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of mechanical building services across multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare designs, calculations, technical reports, drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and suppliers through project delivery.
• Assist with technical proposals and bid submissions as required.
• Apply engineering principles to develop compliant design solutions.
