Job summary

Amey is seeking a permanent Mechanical Engineer to join our Advisory team across the UK. You will support the delivery of mechanical building services elements across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring outputs meet client, programme and budget requirements.

Working with experienced engineers and project teams, you will develop designs, calculations and specifications, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to bids and site surveys.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering.
• Working towards or holding CIBSE/IMechE membership.
• Knowledge of mechanical building services design (HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of mechanical and building services elements across multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare designs, calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and stakeholders in project delivery.
• Assist in technical proposals and bid submissions where required.
• Apply engineering principles to develop practical, compliant design solutions.
• Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections as required.
