Salary: GBPnegotiable DOE

Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Full time, Permanent

Overview

Our client based in Saffron Walden is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Product design
• New Product Development projects
• Present project updates
• Using SolidWorks & Solidworks PDM to create 3D CAD drawings/assemblies and documentation
• Integrating mechanical & electrical components
• Working alongside external partners
• Planning and costing projects
• Maintaining documentation

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electromechanical degree
• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Mechanical and Electromechanical product design experience
• Strong communications skills
• Experience with producing drawings in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM
