Title: Mechanical Assembly Fitter - Hydraulics (Forklift & Work-at-Height required)
Location: UK (various project sites)

Role Summary

We are looking for mechanical assembly fitters with a strong hydraulics background to work on high-value offshore/industrial build projects. The successful candidates will assemble, install and support hydraulic systems and mechanical components, operate forklift for material handling and work at height safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical assembly of hydraulic equipment: pipework, hoses, manifolds, valves, cylinders.
  • Reading blueprints, GA drawings and basic hydraulic schematics.
  • Installation of assemblies on site, securing components, alignment and bolting.
  • Material handling - forklift use; transporting equipment around workshop/site.
  • Work at height: rigging and safe access, scaffolding or platform use as required.
  • Assisting commissioning/functional checks under supervision.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven hydraulics mechanical assembly experience.
  • Valid forklift licence.
  • Valid Work at Height certificate.
  • Comfortable working in workshop and site environment (indoors/outdoors).
  • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to follow drawings.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
  • Workshop & field experience in offshore, heavy industrial or wind sector.
  • Basic understanding of fluid power systems (hydraulic pumps, valves, actuators)
