Job summary

A leading vehicle repair specialist in Crawley is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their skilled team. This diverse role involves servicing and repairing vehicles, with a focus on high standards of workmanship. Candidates must have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ and preferably experience in Motorsport. The position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 depending on experience, along with a structured training program and the potential to work on race cars. A valid UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

I am working with a prestige Independent Vehicle Repair Specialistwho are looking to recruit an experiencedVehicle Technicianto join their highly skilled team.

Working in excellent premises, with very high standards across the board you will need to be ready for a challenge to exceed customer expectations and deliver your best.

This is a very diverse exciting role and also gives the right candidate the opportunity to work on race cars involving race weekends away (motorsport)

Vehicle Technician Role

Carry out servicing, repairs and to diagnose vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment

To ensure workmanship is of the highest standards to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction

Must be aware of and comply with all legal aspects relating both to maintenance and repair of motor vehicles

Record work carried out, time taken and advise on any additional work

About you

To be trained to a minimumLevel 3 City and Guilds Motor Repair / BTEC / NVQor equivalent qualification

You will have previous experience working as aVehicle Technicianor have previousMotorsportexperience

To have excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team

You will have great attention to detail & enjoy all aspects of your position

To have a valid UK driving licence

A full training programme will be designed for the successful applicant, to ensure you can work to the highest standards and ultimately progress your career

ThisVehicle Technicianposition has a£40,000competitive salary depending on experience

Technician

5 day working week, plus 1 Saturday morning in 4, 8.30 – 12.30, at the moment due to Covid we do not open on Saturdays, when things improve, we might reintroduce this.

Normal day 8am – 5pm

1hour lunch

20 Days annual leave plus public holidays.

£40k – experience permitting, potential to work on race cars which might involve race weekends away – motorsport.
