Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, repairing (including racing damage), and servicing various off-road and track competition vehicles, including fabrication work.
The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills. Experience with electrical systems, light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining (preferred but not essential) is desirable.
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.
This position can be offered part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. A clean UK driving licence is required, as road and off-road testing are part of the role.
