Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role is diverse and involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars. Responsibilities include repairs (including racing damage), servicing, and building of off-road and track competition vehicles, as well as fabrication.

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, able to solve technical and build problems, and experienced with electrical systems repair. Skills in light fabrication, fiberglass repairs, welding, and machining are preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work under the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This role can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. Road testing and off-road testing will be required, so a clean UK driving license is necessary.
