Job Opportunity: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder at Tomcat Motorsport Ltd

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile individual for the role of mechanic, engineer, and car builder. This position involves:

1. Building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars
2. Repairing and servicing racing damage and off-road/track competition vehicles
3. Fabrication and repair work, including electrical systems, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining (preferred but not essential)

The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic, resourceful, and adept at solving technical and construction problems. Experience with electrical systems, light fabrication, fibre glass, welding, and machining is desirable. The candidate will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This role can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. A clean UK driving license is required, as road and off-road testing will be part of the job.
