Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role is diverse, involving building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars. Responsibilities include repairs (including racing damage), servicing, and repairs, builds, and fabrication of off-road and track competition vehicles.

The candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, able to solve technical and build problems, and competent with electrical systems repair and build. Light fabrication, fiberglass repairs, welding, and machining skills are preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work under the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

The role can be part-time and is suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work, possibly in retirement. Road and off-road testing will be required, and applicants must possess a clean UK driving license.
