Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is looking for a mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role is diverse and involves building or partially building Tomcat road and competition cars. Responsibilities include repairs (including racing damage), servicing, and repairs or fabrication of off-road and track competition vehicles.

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, and able to solve technical and build problems. Skills with electrical systems, light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining are preferred but not essential.

The successful applicant will work under the project engineer alongside other team members and self-employed workers.

The role can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work, possibly in retirement. Road and off-road testing will be required, so a clean UK driving licence is necessary.
