Job Title: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves building and maintaining Tomcat road and competition cars, including repairs and fabrication for racing damage, off-road, and track vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

1. Building and repairing competition and road cars
2. Diagnosing and solving technical and build problems
3. Electrical system build and repair
4. Light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining (preferred but not essential)
5. Working under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members

Requirements:

• Capable mechanic with resourcefulness and technical problem-solving skills
• Experience in electrical systems, fabrication, fibre glass, welding, and machining (preferred)
• Possession of a clean UK driving licence
• Availability for road and off-road testing

This role can be part-time and is suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder interested in part-time work during retirement.
