Job Opportunity: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder at Tomcat Motorsport Ltd

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role is distinct from a typical garage mechanic position and involves:

1. Building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars
2. Repairing and servicing racing damage and off-road/track competition vehicles
3. Fabrication and repair work, including electrical systems, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining (preferred but not essential)

The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic, resourceful, and able to solve technical and build problems. Experience with electrical systems, fibre glass, welding, and machining is advantageous. The candidate will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This role can be part-time and is suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. The position requires road and off-road testing, so a clean UK driving license is essential.
