Job Opportunity: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder at Tomcat Motorsport Ltd

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves:

1. Building and partial building of Tomcat road and competition cars.
2. Repairs and servicing of racing damage and other off-road and track competition vehicles.
3. Fabrication work, including light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining (preferred but not essential).

The ideal candidate will be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, especially in technical and build challenges. Experience with electrical systems, fibre glass, welding, and machining is desirable. The role involves working under the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This position can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. A clean UK driving licence is required as road and off-site testing will be part of the role.
