Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, repairing racing damage, and servicing various off-road and track competition vehicles, including repairs, builds, and fabrication.

The candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, able to solve technical and build problems, and competent in electrical system repair and build. Light fabrication skills, experience with fiberglass and repairs, welding, and machining skills are preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work under the project engineer alongside other permanent and self-employed team members.

This role can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work, possibly in retirement. Road and off-road testing will be required, so a clean UK driving license is essential.
