Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars, repairing racing damage, servicing, and working on various off-road and track competition vehicles, including fabrication.

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, able to solve technical and build problems, and experienced in electrical system repair and build. Skills in light fabrication, fiberglass repairs, welding, and machining are preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work under the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

This role can be part-time and is suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work, possibly in retirement. Road and off-road testing will be required, and applicants must possess a clean UK driving license.
