Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a mechanic / engineer / car builder. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars. Responsibilities include repairs (including racing damage), servicing, and repairs of off-road and track competition vehicles, as well as fabrication tasks.

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, able to solve technical and build problems, and competent in electrical system repair and build. Light fabrication, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining skills are preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work under the project engineer and alongside other team members, both permanent and self-employed.

The role can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work, possibly in retirement. Road and off-road testing will be required, so a clean UK driving licence is necessary.
