Job Description:

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is looking for a mechanic, engineer, or car builder. This role is diverse and involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars. Responsibilities include repairs (including racing damage), servicing, and building of off-road and track competition vehicles, along with fabrication tasks.

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic, resourceful, and able to solve technical and build problems. Skills in electrical systems repair, light fabrication, fibre glass repair, welding, and machining are preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work under the project engineer and alongside other team members and self-employed specialists.

This role can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work, possibly in retirement. Road and off-road testing will be required, so a clean UK driving licence is necessary.
