Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile mechanic / engineer / car builder. This role involves building and partially building Tomcat road and competition cars. Responsibilities include repairs (including racing damage), servicing, and fabrication of off-road and track competition vehicles.

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, competent in electrical system repair and building, with light fabrication, fibre glass repair, welding, and machining skills (the latter preferred but not essential).

The successful applicant will work under the guidance of the project engineer alongside other team members, including both permanent and self-employed staff.

This position can be offered part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. The role involves road and off-road testing, so a clean UK driving license is required.
