Job summary

E-ppl Ltd is seeking a Mechanic for an Outside IR35 six-month contract in Warminster, Wiltshire. You will maintain fleets, perform inspections, servicing, and repairs on designated platforms while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

The role offers a base rate of £19.00 per hour with weekly pay and overtime, a fully supported travel and subsistence package, and a schedule Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 and Fri 07:30–13:00, plus potential extension.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
• Experience with fleet or commercial vehicles preferred.
• Must be eligible for BPSS security clearance (fully sponsored by employer).

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

About the Role

Join E-ppl Ltd as a Mechanic on a critical fleet maintenance project in Warminster, working alongside a skilled, supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.

• Experience: Proven background as a Mechanic (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
