Job summary

Join E-ppl Ltd as a Mechanic on a six-month, outside IR35 contract in Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury. You will ensure the operational readiness and safety of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms, performing inspections and repairs alongside a skilled on-site team.

Tools and equipment are provided, with weekly payments and an early Friday finish. NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance is required, with BPSS clearance sponsorship offered by E-ppl.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
• Proven mechanic experience with fleet or commercial vehicles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across designated fleet platforms.
• Complete rectification work ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.
• Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.

Mechanic | Outside IR35 Contract

Location: Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire GL20 8LZ

Pay: £17.00/hr Base Rate + £5.00/hr Living Allowance (£22.00/hr Total) | Paid Weekly

Contract: 6-Month Contract (High Potential for Extension)

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Shift: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30 | Fri 07:30–13:00 (Early Friday Finish!)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:

• Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Experience: Proven background as a Mechanic (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).
• Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).
